You have to understand Pascha in the Orthodox Christian psyche. Yes, Christmas is an important Holy Day but absolutely Nothing ranks above Pascha EVER. It’s the singularly most important day of all time. It’s better then having Clive Owen, Christian Bale, and George Clooney act as your personal cabana boys for a week on a luxe Tahitian resort. That good.

And while Orthodox Bishops and Priests, and laypeople world wide begged them to Please cease bombing for just Holy Week….. all calls were resoundingly ignored by the clintoon camp – and the bombs fell all week and “Hristos Voskrese!” was said from bomb shelters. .

Nevermind that::

1) Clinton and cronies made big public noise about not wanting to do any bombings during some Ramadan when things were dicey in the Middle East.

2) They knew full well that the Kosovar Albanians had the backing of Bin Laden

3) They knew that sacred Serbian sites in Kosovo were being looted and desecrated by these Bin Laden financed terrorists.

4) They knew that Albania and Albanian controlled Kosovo are two of the major conduits for the enslavement and trafficking of women and children from Eastern Europe to parties in Western Europe and the reast of the world. Not one peice of action was taken agains the cigarette boats leaving Vlore for Italy every night carrying their drugged and beaten gargoes to Italian “buyers”

Biden fully supported ALL our actions again the Serbs, guilty or not, whilst ignoring the face that all parties Serb/Croat/Bosniak/Albanian were All Guilty of the same heinous actions. There were no saints but clinton cronies spun it as if there were only several groups of lambs set upon by the great satan that was/is Serbia.

Could you please clarify the “bomb Orthodox Christians on Pascha” comment?

But then again….I could never vote for a ticket with someone who thought it was a-ok to bomb Orthodox Christians on Pascha. So I guess it was sealed well in advance.

Enjoying much reading your blog & have added you to my nascent blogs blog roll. Looking forward to reading more of your reasoned commentary with that certain “local” perspective.

We’d been attacked at least twice (first WTC attack, and the attack on the Cole) and Clinton really did nothing. He may have tossed a cruise missile at someone, but really, he ignored the situation. If he hadnt been diddling Monica and been paying attention, then maybe we wouldnt be having the 7th anniversary of the attack on our country in a few days.

What people dont realize, is that some changes made by one president, dont usually affect the American people until well into the next president’s administration. The jobless rates, and the housing bust, and possibly the economy problems can probably all be traced back to something Clinton did in the 90s.

I am so hoping that Obama will lose this election. I dont want a president who is not proud of his country, who allows his cult members…errr….followers…ummm…no…his…supporters to attack a vice presidential candidate because she has five children, one of whom is a soon-to-be teenaged mother.

McCain made me cry during his acceptance speech. He’s truly fought for our country. No one has ever had to question his pride for his country, and I like his choice for a running mate. I havent been this excited to vote in a long time.
