How do you celebrate New Year’s Eve with three kids seven and under? Creatively.
We had a balloon drop. At 10 pm our time (hey, it was late for them, and it was midnight somewhere).
It was a big hit.
Before the drop: large, light scarf, filled with balloons. String tied to the corners taped to the beams on the ceiling.
After the drop: giggling chaos.
The tree didn’t get knocked over. They loved it. It was funny.
Definitely getting added to the “family traditions” file.
