I knew it when I wrote it.
I wrote it anyways.
It wasn’t the first one like that, and it assuredly won’t be the last.
I really don’t enjoy upsetting people (no matter what some of the commenters seem to think), nor do I enjoy being labelled harsh, judgemental, misguided, misinformed, clueless, blind, insufficiently understanding, lacking in compassion, deceiving, etc.
But truth is truth, when we like it or not (it is often painful to be corrected). Whether it’s convenient to our plans or perceptions or not (as I told one commenter, our perceptions of “fair” do not always line up with God’s ideas on the subject). Whether it’s the answer we wanted or not (and no fair whining when the answer is “no”… although we all do it anyways).
But God is truth… and being silent would be a betrayal of what I know of Him and of everyone who has ever straightened me out when I needed it.
Maybe I need a new housewyf drawing for “thwacking hornets’ nests”.
